About Me
I am Megan Wordsworth, a public relations professional based in North Carolina. Currently, I work on the Communications team at INSP, a top-rated general entertainment network. During my time on the team, I have helped launch and manage publicity campaigns for reality and scripted entertainment including: Ultimate Cowboy Showdown, Turquoise Fever, Wild West Chronicles, Blue Ridge, The Warrant, Christmas on the Range, The Legend of 5 Mile Cave and more. A passionate storyteller, I pride myself in influencing show awareness and ratings success by developing strong tentpole relationships with a variety of media outlets. While at INSP, I had the honor of being named a 2019 "Rising Star 30 & Under" by PRNEWS.
Prior to joining the team at INSP, I worked as a Publicity Assistant at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, assisting in all PR efforts for events leading up to the 90th Academy Awards.
While obtaining my Communications degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (Go Seahawks!), I was fortunate to intern at NBCUniversal, ViacomCBS and the Wilson Center for Performing Arts.
